نود و ششمین جوایز اسکار، که به عنوان اسکار 2024 نیز شناخته می‌شود، بهترین‌های سینمای جهان را در سال 2023 معرفی کرد. در حالی که جوایز زیادی در 23 بخش وجود داشت، اوپنهایمر نولان به عنوان برنده بزرگ امسال معرفی شد و بیشتر جوایز مهم را درو کرد. اوپنهایمر علاوه بر کسب بهترین فیلم، جوایز بهترین کارگردان (کریستوفر نولان)، بازیگر نقش اول مرد (کیلیان مورفی)، بازیگر نقش مکمل (رابرت داونی جونیور)، فیلمبرداری، موسیقی و تدوین را نیز بدست آورد! این بردها همچنین اولین جایزه اسکار برای نولان، مورفی و داونی جونیور محسوب می‌شوند.
Poor Things با چهار برنده از جمله بازیگر نقش اول (اما استون)، طراحی صحنه، گریم و آرایش مو، و طراحی صحنه و لباس به عنوان فیلم مطرح بعدی معرفی شد. The Zone of Interest تنها فیلم دیگری بود که جوایز متعددی را از آن خود کرد زیرا برنده بهترین فیلم بین المللی شد.
